Don't give up hope guys!  The reason why Wii never got RE5 was because it simply couldn't handle the Wii's specs.  WiiU, on the other hand, is more powerful than the Wii and strong enough to suit PS360 software.  I'm sure we'll see it; don't lose hope, he neither confirmed nor denied it.

So... let's not jump to conclusions yet.

Always time for developers plans to change. Especially if the Wii U hits a running start out the gates. The Wii U launch is BIG for Nintendo. Especially if they plan on reeling in more 3rd party support, and keeping the third party support they already have.

Let's hope, because Nintendo will be very angry if RE6 is not on Wii U.

Edit: It's not because of being pessimitic just for the sake of being, but with the confirmation of no Wii U version of Epic Mickey 2 and Tomb Raider the fear of RE6 not on Wii U is well founded.

Epic Mickey 2 was primarily built for the Wii, so that is somewhat excusable.  Tomb Raider I'm pretty sure Eidos will have a change of heart after seeing the WiiU at E3.  RE6 is an understandable fear, but on the other hand, I'm sure they couldn't outright confirm it anyway, especially if Nintendo told them NOT to say anything about Wii development until E3.  So... we'll see.

I understand the fear, but I'd rather not go down that path... yet.

The Epic Mickey developers allowed room for future Wii U versions.   They were getting excited about what the controller could do.
