Holograms can be calculated using hogels to decrease processing so the only real problem is making a holographic video itself. Autostereoscopic solutions are way more realistic.

Making holographic video has been done. Autosterescopic 3D will always have the problem with the focus point being wrong.

Theres never been an advancement this monumental... The potential for what could be done is nothing short of staggering. 

Maybe, Quantum processing to my knowledge is virutally limitless if harnessed correctly considering it litearally processes all possible states AT ONCE, which still boggles my mind to no end.

Also, Processing at this level is going to make ALOT more things besides Holographic Displays a reality.

Put it this way: The full scale potential power of a Quantum Supercomputer is to the degree that we could literally be "In" one right now, in the sense of something along the lines of The Matrix for instance.

Read this a couple days ago... .its awesome. Every few years or so there is some new breakthrough that keeps showing we'll get it right one day. I for one can't wait to see the first real super computers that are quantum.

Still a lot of work to go, but it will happen.

I don't think some of the people on this site realize the power. We could solve millions of problems that we have been trying to figure out for 1,000s of years. Maybe even get the answer on how to make us evolve and become more efficient. Questions like how to live longer and maybe even become immortal. Cure disease and many, many things. This, if used for good, will be our answer to the stars and beyond. I always wanted to travel in space, Not only would this be able to solve hunger, Poverty, health, science, energy, enviromental problems. The list goes on and on that this could accomplish in the right hands. I'm stoked as well but scared as well.

THIS! RIGHT HERE! This is LITERALLY what this is all going to cause, and more importantly, its going to happen in OUR LIFETIMES! But as you said, I'm scared as well, because the question is what happens when this is used for military purposes and whatnot.

Basically, this will allow us to basically do almost anything. This is going to be the key to allow us to, in a sense, become a god.

For those who dont know, a Quantom Qubit is something that goes beyond our understanding of the universe. We cant really explain how it works with any sort of accuracy.

Other examples of things that fall into this catagory...

1.) Black Hole
2.) Neutrino's traversing faster than the speed of light...which has no measurable mass...
3.) Shine a laser at a solid metal block and the light can be measured on the other side...until we try to see it happening, then its no longer there. Ect.
