Don't believe in the electricity one burning paper. It's one thing to not create a circuit, it's another to act like a wire.

Why not? We all contain electricity 24/7.

I've seen a documentary on some kid that lost his eyesight and had his eyes removed for them not to rot. The thing is that after a while he developped the ability to see with echo location. It was accurate enough that he could see incoming cars, and sidewalk elevations. He had to make some noise with his mouth and when the noise bounced off something he could see the shape of what it was... I believe the documentary said there were a few people around the world with such abilities and it was accessible to all humans. Years of practice or nature trying to adapt to different situations...

Because this is a lot more electricity. I know a lot about the stuff (I built a tesla coil for pete's sake) and it just is obsured.

I really don't see how that's relevant since this is a special case (just like how you obviously would say that it's impossible to remember entire cities by looking at them once).

Awesome thread. Good going.

''So What's Going on Here?
Hof himself claims that his remarkable abilities come from meditation, which sounds like total hackneyed bullshit to us, as no amount of thinking can keep your flaccid penis from fusing to a block of ice.''

The world and it's people are very ignorant. These people know nothing about meditation - clearly. It's not ''thinking'', it's focusing the mind in a very specific way. Of course, the hamburger eating, series-watching cynic of today is as blind to these things as a poodle is to calculus.

When I was in India I saw many yogis in the Himalayas. They hardly wore any clothes as well. It's quite common there. You might scoff at this, but my monk-friend whom I trust with my life once found a yogi in a block of ice with a simple air bubble around him due to the heat radiating from his body. He must've been in the mountains for years.

The samurai is pretty impressive. His smile is very nice, such a gentleman!

this is crazy! CRAZY!
il have to come back to this and watch these videos later

Here's a video of the sonar kid... very impressive. Having such an ability would allow us to see in complete darkness.

Here an article.

I know I'm 3 days late but o well.

It's relevent because it means I study electricity and know how it works. What's going on in the video is pretty much a joke to someone who understands it. If I didn't care about pain I could do the exact same thing with very minor damage to my skin, just like him. Why would I say photographic memory is impossible? That doesn't go against science.

Maybe I should've been more clear: You wouldn't say that people generally does, just like people generally wouldn't be able to act like a wire.

You pretty much contradicted yourself here, as acting like a wire doesn't go against science either. This is a special case just like each one of these people.
