Edit: oops i see the article in OP is talking about bt games lol. Anyways they've been accurate before but they were wrong with the Move's release date.

I wonder if they wanted this to be known before an official release? Anyways looking forward to a nice trailer!

Ya if it aint announced by March, expect a E3 announcement with a 2013 release.

Thank goodness it's happening! I mean of course a fourth game was inevitable after the huge critical & commercial success of the third, but with all the recent rumours by PSM3, Future shop teasing on Twitter and the accidental announcements made by David Thornfield and Timothy Williams, it's pretty much confirmed now!

It'll be the second game I'll ever pre-order, I hope they put together an awesome special edition with the usual stuff and a large Kratos statue like the Gears of War 3 epic edition Marcus Fenix statue. I'm starting to get sick of gaming and games in general, at the moment only two officially announced games have my interest, Mass Effect 3 and to a larger extent Bioshock Infinite, but God of War IV gets me excited like nothing else!

I wonder how well this one will sell, if it gets great support from Sony and is mass bundled like Uncharted 3, then this will be absolutely huge, going by the Facebook groups it has by miles much more fans than any other PS exclusive, at 2.1 million fans and growing by 10K+ EVERY DAY, the adoring fans are there, the word of mouth will be immense, all Sony has to do is advertise it well worldwide and bundle the game a fair amount to introduce new gamers to the series, it could easily be a 6-7m seller if Sony makes the effort. That said I'm not saying III didn't sell well though, at about 4.5m in just under 2 years with terrible advertising and virtually no bundling that is an amazing achievement, that game should easily pass the 5m milestone, but I want the franchise to be bloody huge!

I expect a March 2013 release.
