I will wait for 1up and Gamespot reviews.

First of all, those are the two most crooked review sites out there. Secondly, Its brawl! It will get an average of 95% or higher. I promise.

I was joking. Why would I pick the 2 worst sites for Wii reviews?

Camp out? Not a chance in heck. If I did I wouldn't be able to subtly mock people who do camp out for eletronics anymore...besides I didn't camp out for the Wii. Why would I do it now?

You know the drill if you add me pm your codes.

Pre-ordered since June. So no.

I'll buy it when it goes platinum or the equivalent on the wii

You mean Player's Choice? Well good luck with waiting until 2010. Stores will most have deals where you can buy the game slightly cheaper. Besides, why do you need a pricedrop? This game is worth OVER $100 USD!!!!!!!!!

I like buying games for cheap, I'm also very patient, so i'll wait for it to become really cheap, I mean if the game is good when it comes out, then it'll be good 1 year later.

Same. I'm more than happy to wait a bit and be able to buy two or three games for the price I would've had to fork out if I'd bought it at launch.

Not camping out. Will probably preorder it.

@Troll_monster: I totally get what you mean, being a bargain hunter myself. But it may be a long wait for SSBB to go discounted, and that's going to be YEARS of people getting more experience and learning all the tricks in the game before you do. Not to mention all the spoilers you'll run into. I was waiting for Wario to come down in price. Is it? Nope, not unless I buy it used. And I've lost interest in it since. So maybe that's a good thing. But SSBB is going to have even longer legs (look at SSBM for the track record) so it may be a LONG time. I'm not waiting around for that.

Even games like Paper Mario are already down to less than £25. Games seem to fall very quickly. I wait for sub £20 then buy.

^^^ will you really have to wait 2 more days for the game

yup....and so will you. Sorry :o(

What?

The Gamestop I work at is doing a midnight launch on Sunday morning :-/

Sucks to be you guys. Here's the deal, we'll recieve the game anywhere from the 3rd to the 7th, and then open at 12AM Sunday morning here for an hour and let people pick up their reservations. We've done it before. There's no problem with it coming out on a Sunday.

Currently playing: Civ 6

I just have a question for you guys who are going to be camping out for this game: Will you be camping just so you can play the game during the early hours of the morning or because the place that is getting them will only have a limited number of copies and you will have to wait a little longer for the next shipment?

Here in New York, they also have midnight launches for a few marquee games but I don't think no game has been sold-out during it's midnight launch (Maybe not true for the Toys 'R Us in Times Square, but usually it's not the same case for the few Gamespots, as well as Circuit Citys or Best Buys near the general area).

Just curious; what is applicable for one area doesn't translate the same elsewhere.

EDIT: Also, there is that Nintendo store in Rockefeller Center that might be having a party.

It seriously isn't going to be that popular on launch, or enough that you would need to camp out.. if you are nervous, then preorder it

Troll_monster: They haven't introduced anything equivilant to platinum yet on wii, i assume because pretty much everything is selling well without going cheaper

I dunno a lot of Buzz has been generated.  My gamestop has over 100 preordered for brawl.  some game stops have like 200.

Of course whether or not this sample is representative or not, I do not know.  All I know is that the release will be pretty big, and the game will have HUGE legs.
