Who is talking about a bomb? If you're refering to me I was talking about StarcraftManiac vision of a DS heaven. Sure the number is great but I think some guys here expected much more.

How on earth were we supposed to you were talking about somebody else? Now you say sales are great while your previous post said it wasn't impressive. If you're going to include every other post ever written on the subject, you should at least quote them so we know wtf you are talking about.

I think DS has own category of sale for some games. I would say "insane sale of poor games for children". Fact that this particular title is out of this category in USA is below expectation but the number is still impressive. No magic here.

Below expectation? It's already sold 5 million in Japan. The best selling DS game is Nintendogs with 12 million. So it's well on track to be the best selling DS title ever.

It will be interesting... Nintendogs vs. PKMN DP... Both games could end up with 15 million in sales.
In NA, Nintendogs did 1.7 million in 2005... and 2.45 million in 2006... But its already done another 450K in the first two months of 2007... It could easily do another 2 million in NA, getting up to 6.5 million...
Going by shipments, its tracking about 600K units above NA in "others." Could get up to 7 million in others, plus the 1.5 million its done in Japan... Thats 15 million units. Nintendogs could honestly be chasing down San Andreas by the end of this year...

It has done about 250K so far in Japan. 1 mil WW is possible, and even likely, but its not going to be pushing a lot of Wiis.

Yes, below expectation in USA because of insane sale in Japan (3:1 as for day one). I think many people expected a similar sale in USA. Over. I think this is pretty clear now.
