Forums - General Discussion - Iowa Caucus results

The first bach of results are in it seems.

"With 7 percent of precincts reporting, Edwards had the support of 36 percent of voters, compared to 31 percent for Clinton and 30 percent for Obama. No other Democratic candidate had won more than 2 percent of the vote in those early reporting precincts."

Results were in from 129 of 1,781 precincts.

Also it seems that Huckabee is leading the republican party there.

Following the race is a good way of passing time till the Japanese numbers are updated.

MSNBC has called the Republican vote for Huckabee.

Estimated results so far (in percentage)

Huckabee 36

Romney 23

Thompson 15

McCain 12

Paul 11

Ooh its getting closer

" With 15 percent of precincts reporting, Huckabee had the support of 36 percent of voters, compared to 23 percent for Mitt Romney. Fred Thompson had 15 percent and John McCain had 12.

On the Democratic side, early results show John Edwards with a narrow lead over rivals Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

With 23 percent of precincts reporting, Edwards had the support of 33 percent of voters, compared to 32 percent each for Clinton and Obama. Bill Richardson had 2 percent of the vote. "

Thank god. I'll take just about anyone on the Dem side over Hillary, and a moderate like Edwards most of all.

Of course, whoever wins the Dems' primary will pretty much win the general election, since pretty much nobody on the Republican side is electable.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
