Forums - General Discussion - Bringing back Mr. Rogers Neighborhood 2.0!

Ahh to reclaim my youth

Doesn't look too bad to me, so long as it keeps in with Rogers' idea about not talking down to kids, which is pretty much all kids shows do these days, except other oldies like Sesame Street

Are you freakin serious?

PBS was awesome for kids programming. The Magic School Bus, Curious George, Reading Rainbow, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Sesame Street? It's not really anything for people past elementary school but growing up on those shows were freaking awesome.

no they were'nt. I did'nt like to be tricked into learning stuff.

Shit, Carmen Sandiego got me interested in geography, and Bill Nye taught me a lot of science stuff that i still remember (even though i veered away from hard science into the social sciences some time ago), but the geography knowledge is still with me, and now quite deep

nope leave him dead lol.

Should have just been a new person moving into Mr Roger's house and seeing all this awesome make believe land stuff and continuing from there... however, I guess moving to animation with same overall format won't kill it.
