I am definitely interested in PSO2 despite being burned by PSU. Seriously, you had to pay $10 a month to play the same repetitive missions over and over again on only 3 planets.

Yeah, PSU was horrible and has nothing to do with the original PSO. There is a reason that SEGA is using the PSO name again, and I really hope they get it right this time. BTW, PSO Blue Burst was fine.

Yes...I love blue burst...I still play the game on the private servers...its awesome...
Lots of people from europe and japan still play blue burst....
I hope they do it right this time....

Unfortunately the Japanese PSO BB servers shut down a few months ago, but yeah the spirit lives on the private servers around the internet. It's also sad to see a better quality in private servers than the original ones. I used to play Phantasy Star Online Ver2 for PC in that private server 5 years ago and the experience was awesome.

If a console edition comes out I will give it a try.

yeah..its sad that the blue burst servers shut down...
and I agree the private servers had much more fun....because
it was the serious dedicated fans of PSO...
a console version is a must....SEGA wake up and port it...fast

I didn't even know it was still possible to play Blue Burst.  I though that after the official servers were closed.  That was it.  

nope...they had severs still up...just not run by SEGA....
lots of gamers on it, lots of missions, side missions, and challenges...
my character was over level 50
