I never preorder games. I will be glad if it comes out 6/19 but its summer cant be good for sales or?

Summer sales can only help. Remember in 06 when Dead Rising came out in the summer? There was nothing to play and that game went platinum (1,000,000). I think being the only game to come out around that time, if true, can only help as it's not competing for bucks with anyone else.

Whether or not the date is true, it does fall in line with what Konami said

says 6/17 now, though I doubt that Gamestop has it right. I hope they do in this case though, I turn 17 on the 17th =D that'd be a freaking awesome birthday gift!

6 months is a long time away. games rarely make the date that the publisher says. i think it would do better if delayed til early nov anyway.

 No, it really does mean nothing.  Look at all the unreleased games without a confirmed release date and you'll notice that all those *gasp* have a placeholder date.  Q2 2008 is a lot bigger than one week and they just picked a date in the area.

the reason i say it means nothing is because gamestop had the date at 6-24 prior to this... its just a placement date thats all
