Forums - PC Discussion - Getting CrossfireX to work correctly, NEED HELP!!!

I am having troubles, or at least I think I am, at getting CrossfireX to work on my computer.  I recently purchased a second GPU, about a month ago, and installed it into my computer.  But I have not noticed a difference in any of the games that I am playing.  How can I tell if I have it setup correctly and its running like it should be and at its peak levels, minus overclocking of course.

My motherboard says it supports it, and so do the GPUs   And Just in case you need them here is my motherboard, and here are the GPUs I have.

Any help would be appreciated

Be sure that the xfire bridge is well placed and check in the Catalyst Control Center if Xfire is activated.

Disclaimer: I haven't gone Xfire but I thought it could help.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

have you plugged in the cross fire cable.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

When you get it working, it will be an epic rig

Did you connect the crossfire bridges that came with the cards? Are both of your cards detected in Windows/Catalyst Control Center?

If you go into CCC and click on the "Performance" tab and then "AMD Overdrive" you should be able to select between both cards. (sorry for the big pic)

You can then click on "AMD Crossfirex configuration" and make sure that the box is checked that says "Enable Crossfirex".

If all of that is okay, then do you have the latest CAP installed? (Catalyst Application Profiles)

http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/crossfirex-app-profiles.aspx

Those are the CFX profiles needed for all of the games and the CAP is updated regularly as new games are released.

edit: took screenshots from my setup and added them in.

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

Thank you for all the responses everyone.

I do have the crossfire bridge installed,  the question is should I use 1 or 2 bridges.  Pictures I seen online I saw it setup both way so I didnt know which to do so I went with both. Is this ok?

As for the Catalyst Control Center, it says I have CrossFireX enabled

But I cant select my different Graphics cards as the previous page is entirely greyed out.

Thanks for all the help everyone

Please see my other post,  I also polsted screenshots of my setup in CCC

As for the CAP,  I dont think I ever had it installed, at least I dont remember ever installing it.  Would this have been something that came with the GPUs on the disc?  Or something I would have had to download?
