Simply no. Other than d/ling a few WiiWare games and messing some with GoldenEye online I havnt bothered with it. I prefer local MP. Thankfully, Im pretty sure I can at least count on Nintendo to always include (Local MP). For the games that dont and are heavy on MP I just simply would never buy them.

I haven't paid to play anything online since Phantasy Star Online on GC. Star Wars: The Old Republic will probably be the first game I pay to play in over 10 years.
