@Baalzamon, yes moderation is the key for most things in life.  If you eat too much, sleep too much, do drugs too much, etc it will have a negative impact on your life.  While marijuana isn't perfect (no drug is) I view it as one of the safest and most controllable (able to control yourself) drug there is on this planet.  I wouldn't even go as far as saying people that smoked way too much weed as brain dead.  Shit I smoked a shitload of weed in past 10 plus years (almost every day for the most part).  However, I can wake up every day and be 100% effective as I was (same can't be said waking up hungover from alcohol).  Brain damage only occurs with drugs such as ecstasy, possible tripping too much on acid, etc... And in fact those drugs don't cause total brain damage they just injure the brain (such as ecstasy releases too much happiness hormones at once which hurts those sensors).

On the gateway part.. If you have it illegal you are buying it from a drug dealer.  Sometimes those drug dealers deal other drugs and offer that consumer another drug.  That is the only thing that makes it a gateway drug is by having it illegal.  You don't go into a store to buy a pack of smokes then the clerk offers you crack, but that could happen if someone goes to a drug dealer to buy a sack of weed. 

Most of the studies are all full of shit.  The main study people reflect back to say marijuana kills brain cells was in fact a bullshit study.  They pumped monkeys full of weed smoke pretty much suffocating them with carbon dioxide.  What happens when you are suffocating?  Your brain cells start to die.

I'm very pro the legalisation of Marijuana and I don't even smoke the stuff.

As i have said before in these threads I am a legal smoker as I need it for my grave injuries I sustained to my foot to cope with the pain.                                       Yeah right, I have my medical card to show my absolute disapproval of my government's endless track record of lies and deception concerning drugs, but especially Cannabis.

Going to a medical MJ dispensary is great the people are so nice and there are so many strains to choose from my greedy mind has to always buy three or four at a time. In my adventures in legal toking my favorite buds are sugar haze, strawberry haze (for the flavor), purple skunk (nasty, stinky, but incredible) and train Wreck because it seems the most psychedelic of the strains I have tried. Oh and to all the idiots on call of duty using Kush as their clan tag you should know there are many, many more great strains out their other than Kush. Just because snoop dog and Cyprus hill says it is the best does not make it so. Hopefully one day when it is legal you will learn as you are able to try hundreds and hundreds of strains if you wish.

Also regarding Kush remember anybody can name their strain Kush and you probably are not smoking the same strain as snoop dog. From Northern lights to Kush, some of the best strains are not the real deal and just copy cats.

@ sETH nINTENDO I do not think this thread will go anywhere as previous threads have shown me there are not many regulars on this site who use weed. This forum is not big enough yet to handle a real good discussion from only those that partake in it.

I'm fine with weed but driving high should not be allowed. I'll take your word for it that you CAN drive high but you SHOULDN'T.

Yea, it is understandable that weed smokers are in the minority (perhaps more on this site, although one would think that video game community would be made up of more stoners).  However, a majority of people have tried the drug at least once in their lifetime.  I wish I could keep this to stoners only yet it is perhaps better that the uninformed get a little weed education also.  It is a sad time that in this information/technology period that so many people are uninformed about marijuana.
