1.5 million 3DS units will be sent to Japan by the end of March. And, already, the initial shipment has been swallowed up by consumers. Nikkei is reporting that the 400,000 units made available on launch day are now in the hands of gamers across the country. An additional shipment should be heading to Japan very shortly

I wonder what the reports of the massive eye sore after a few minutes of gaming will do the sales. So far looks like a non issue. But legs might be a concern.
