I'm sorry, you meant after the holdays, my bad. Well, you doubting GT games legs is like me expecting Wii not to sell in December.

Well, going back to GTA, GTA SA had/has ridiculously long legs - far longer than almost any other game - whilst GTA IV (on both consoles) has had pathetic legs in comparison so it wouldn't be surprising if the same happened with GT, especially since VGC suggests rather large drops post-holiday.

well i agree with you it should sell about 8-8.5 million by the end of the year and 10 million lifetime and i would be really pleased if vgchartz could update the gt5 numbers higher as evryone thinks gt5 is undertracked by vgchartz at least 300k copies! i perosanly think it should have sold around 6 million by end of 10 weeks and what do you guys think is my predication right or wrong

GTA4 has had terrific legs, what are you talking about? 

And every game had large drops after the holidays including GTA SA.

Terrific in themselves, but it was getting outsold by SA recently, wasn't it? It's more that SA's legs were so good that GTAIV couldn't catch up, but still...

EDIT: As for your edit, what happened with GT5 was that it went from being over GT4 to being below it, suggesting that it may not leg as well.

GTA4 was never even near SA sales at no time. SA sold 10 million quicker than any game until nswb wii did it in 2009. What saved GTA4 was its legs, it still sells today althouh regarded as a bad game. 

As far GT, even the PSP version has terrific legs, and somehow you think GT5 won't.

Wrong! 9.99 million to be exact...  No clue personally however it will sell pretty damn close to your predictions probably.  Like previous people said before I doubt a bundle will happen anytime soon.  Holiday season for USA at the earliest.  Anyways, the game will have legs and will probably end up selling 17 million at the very least lifetime.
