It's a vanilla quad-core A9. I'm not impressed. The interesting part is the GPU but if Tegra/Tegra 2 is any guide it won't be much faster than what SGX or ARM or Qualcomm can give you. Interestingly Qualcomm's Adreno is actually AMD Radeon tech they sold off (probably unwisely)
The interesting one, Denver, is at least 3 years away.
I'm not liking this trend of saying GPUs have cores. They have pipelines, not even unified shaders. It might be as fast as the PS3's GPU if they're lucky, but so will the competition.
In the cool codenames deparment they get 10/10 however.
