5th. The awesome N64 was my first console :)

Besides, very few games can beat the epicness of local multiplayer of Super Smash Bros., Goldeneye, Mario Kart64, and the Co-op of Perfect Dark. Yup Yup Yup.

Those games are out in this generation, but a lot better now.  I don't understand your reasoning.

I'd have to say 4th generation. I adore the SNES, my favourite console of all time!

PS1 gen aka Squaresoft at it's best was my favorite by far. FF7,8,9, Tactics, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Xenogears, Parasite Eve 1 & 2...some of the best games ever made.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

That is very subjective. But, I guess I could rephrase my first statement, and say that when the epicness of local multiplayer flourished. Is that better for your understanding?
