YES!!! I've been waiting for a return to the greatest FPS ever.

Probably have to add some new pieces to my PC to play this.

Yes I have a PS3 but I will buy this on PC. Simply a FAR better experience.

I want more details!!!!

They're definitely not forgetting the people who made Battlefield what is today if this is any indication.

THAT is what I like to hear. A proper BF PC version, not the Bad Company spin off, a real BF experience. :)

cant wait and the EA Sports Animations will look great since sport games have the best animations going around

oh god, I reviewed BC2 and BC2 Vietnam and I will say the are far inferior to the main BF franchise. BF3 will destroy BC2 in quality.

I didn't know Battlefield 3 was coming to consoles, I don't have a gaming PC so that is great news for me! I loved BFBC2, even though It was a spin off. I never had the chance to play the original Battlefield games so I can't wait to try this.

Any word on when this game is coming out? Never looked into it.

Well, I never really played the original Battlefield games.  I have only played Bad Company 1/2 and I really enjoyed it.

Now that Activision is pushing MW3 for a quick release, forcing it to be split up among 3 publishers and the majority of the original team who built the original MW and MW2 gone, Dice has its chance to take the ball and run with it.  If they polish it and do it right of course.  MW 3 is going to be a mess.  Sure everyone will buy it because it has the Modern Warfare name and it will be hyped to hell, but it won't be anything anyone is expecting, let alone anything anyone is going to consider to be great.  Course thats my assumption and I am a huge MW fan, haven't even played BF 2 yet.  I just know Activision has blown it this time and they are going to prove it this November because the money comes first, not the product.  Just my opinion of course.
