Heres some kinect info for Germany

http://www.gamersglobal.de/news/30038/kinects-german-disaster-only-25000-sensors-sold-in-3-weeks

GfK/mediacontrol (which is the undisputed leader for sales figures in the entertainment media industry in Germany, drawing their data directly from retailers' computer systems) totaled the sold units for the stand-alone Kinect sensor (including Kinect Adventures) to only 24.187 units in Germany in the first three weeks

Kinect will of sold less than 100,000 in 2010

All bow to me the VGChartz current reigning 3DS prediction champion

July 2009 daveJ saidTrue the wii has a large lead now but by 2017 the most likely result will be 1. ps3 2. xbox360 3. wii <-- wii's successor launched in 2011 effectively killing sales of the wii

it is absolutely amazing the stronghold that PS3 holds in some european countries. Or should I say Sony holds. Shows what 2 mammoth consoles will do for you. People will trust your product no matter what. Absolutely fantastic that that still exists in the world :)

when did it release in germany, if most of those 3 weeks werent actually in holidays then you can throw that logic away. Aus was released on nov 18, and i am pretty sure germany was released a week earlier, so we are talking about ending 18, 25, 2.

That is not bringing holiday into account. I think it is safe to say that we shouldnt judge that as gospel personally

Starcraft 2 @ > 500k in Germany, but only 1.13 million in EMEAA ? doesn't seem realistic (note Korea should count as EMEAA as well)

btw Kinect Adventures just passed 100k in January, so it seems those saying Kinect didn't sell 100k in 2010 in Ger were right

"auf Basis der Abverkaufszahlen von media control GfK INTERNATIONAL GmbH."

They use the sales figures from Fessel GFK as a basis for their awards.

"Der BIU Sales Award honoriert seit 2008 besonders verkaufsstarke Spieletitel (Vollpreisversionen) im Bereich interaktiver Unterhaltungssoftware in Deutschland."

Vollpreisversionen means "games sold at full price", so budget titles and bundles should not be included in this figures.

Also take into account that many Germans import games from the UK , because the games are much cheaper, or from Austria because Germany takes censorship very serious. There often is content cut so that the game will be rated 16.

well, it seems it includes bundles, because Kinect Adventures got an award in january 2011 for 100k sold and that game is always bundled (with Kinect or with 360 Kinect)

You shouldn't take the PC numbers on VGC too seriously.

When Black Ops got award in germany it's sales at VGC showed that minimum level to get that award first day sales in Poland were around 90% of VGC number for whole EMEA.

And let's not start discussion on how VGC can miss Two Worlds II shipping 1000k on PS3/X360/PC in 3 weeks (1500k after 5 weeks) only because it wasn't released in UK.
