So I use a Samsung SyncMaster 2494 monitor to play my Xbox 360 and it works perfectly fine. Today I decided that I would like to hook up my PS3 to the same said monitor and I can't get it to work.

I Googled around a bit to see if I could find anything and I read a few people having problems with Samsung monitors but no real direct answer and/or fix to the problem. Does anybody know how I can get this to work, or if it will even work?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

EDIT:

Problem solved. I just held in the power button on the PS3 to reset settings and it worked from there.

I have an samsung LCD montior/tv combined and i have no problems with my PS3 hooked up

I am using HDMI, maybe you should try that if you aren't

But its not Samsung, maybe the model because i have zero problems.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Not too sure, are you using HDMI? If so it would have to be an HDCP compliant monitor for it to work.
