The idea is great that you can switch it on and off at anytime without interrupting what's happening on screen. Will others adopt this trick?

They should definitely have the option of turning off 3D, don't current 3DTVs have this option?

@wyvers: It does work on a TV with either multiple angles for people to view or eye tracking - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autostereoscopy
