well i think Remedy took 5 years for Alan Wake because of engine,so Alan Wake 2 coming 2012 is possible...wait,Alan Wake 3?

typo is a bitch aint it? XD thats why I say 3 years, a game like that needs a lot of background work, I dont want them to half ass it, thats for sure.

Gears 3 is all they really need. It'll outsell anything Sony brings to the table for Q3/Q4 2011.

Not sure what else. Left 4 Dead 3 sounds about right. Seems a bit early for Splinter Cell 6 but who knows.

well Kinect will see the most support and we maybe suprised by wht we see coming out for it in the next 3yr's (never count anyone of the big 3 out)

as far as the 360 go's; why would you need anything other then GEARS 3. while it may not boost console sells for the 360 it will be 1 of the biggest games coming out next yr and have an openning wk of maybe 2-4m units maybe?

The age of exclusives is over, especially for shooters and dudebros, PS3 and 360 userbase is too big and to buy out an exclusive would be too costly. IF MS wants to get some 3rd party exclusives and still be profitable with that exclusive, they should look at RTS games and/or Blizzard games with Battle.net. 3rd party exclusives will always exist. They just won't be as plentiful as years past.


Sure, hence why I said MS should focus on RTS games, especially with Kinect, they could be huge.


i think so to. jesture based movements should work well as R.U.S.E. has proven on Move but hands free with voice commands could take the RTS genre to new heights and maybe better on KINECT because of it.

But gears is quality, and IMO it beats anything sony has to offer.

So you are willing to make a bet that Gears 3 will ...hm lets see..

score a higher Meta against all of the following games =
Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, The Last Guardian, InFAMOUS 2, Twisted Metal, Resistance 3, Motorstorm : Apocalypse, SOCOM 4 and possibly an Uncharted 3?

Or are you simply implying your opinion and not the overall reception of the game?

I just hope they go back to Gears 1 style online. Seriously. Gears of War was godly online-- still the best time I've ever had online since Halo CE PC.

But Gears 2 . . . just . . . not social enough. I could never play against the same people twice. It took the ability to just screw around with strangers away. Also, I hated how much people relied on holing up somewhere and grenade tagging the walls. It always made it tricky to finish Sudden Death matches.

Best case scenerio, they take away rankings, banish matchmaking to the fiery bowels of the underworld, and . . . put back in team kills for players matches. I don't care what they do with ranked matches though . . .



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
