Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Ryuta Kawashima's New Brain Training Game for Kinect

It looks alright, but I wonder how well this will work on a home console. Part of the appeal of Brain Age and games like it is portability--being able to pick up and play whenever you have the time to spare.

That's the main reason why the game was sucesfull. It can be a sucess also on Xbox but won't reach 15m (neither Halo is there...) like the DS games, they're just perfect for an handheld.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

Very smart move. Considering how big the DS versions were. Will be tricky though for Microsoft to get regular people to buy this. I have people complaining over buying a €150,- DS and Brain training, let alone a 360 Kincet with Brain Training for what, 349? But as said, this has very good potential.

You wouldn't buy kinect or a ds for just one game. that would be silly

I think it's pretty silly to buy a console or accessory based on a single or even 2-3 games but that doesn't mean lots of people don't do it.

That looks pretty good.  They should add something like this to Kinect Sports in a bundle or something.  It would sell like hotcakes.

Does it have the official Brain Age name involved with it?  If it does it will have a built in userbase that would be interested in it.
