If you believe that they could rewrite history like that you can also believe that the US has not landed on the moon. Sorry but in our democratic countries we have universities with history departments trying to recreate a detailed past. In a democratic country you cannot "change" the truth in a big way like that. They have tried to change the past in the Sovjetunion and DDR but they didn't even believe it in there. The only country that really has information control over a big part of its society is North Korea and even that is slipping.

gorgepir, there are different discussions going on in this thread, and the one you contribute to is not the one someone was called a racists.

You are right to a certain degree, we don't know how the world had turned out if the Nazis had won the war, and democracy is not looked at as a good thing in all parts of the world. (Just look at Russia for example.)
But the downfall of the Sowjet Union as a victor of WWII, you see that evil victors also come to a point were they lose.

Also, there is never a war where good fights against evil, even WWII was more complicated. There were three forces and in my opinion, two of them were evil (Sowjet Russia and Nazi Germany). Also, human psychology is quite complicated and you can't say all germans were evil even though they loved Hitler. Many of them lost their life as did millions of Jews, Russians, other Europeans, Americans etc.

 as an american, yes, yes we do.  however, i would like to add a few words in my countries defence.

1. bush only won the election by a small marigan, he doesn't have wide spread support.

2. a good portion of bush's support comes from those who vote on only one issue, abortion, and don't nessissaryily agree or care what else he does.

3. in the mid term elelctions democrates won by a pretty large margin because most americans are tired of this war and bush in general.

4. despite the mid-term election, the democrates haven't managed to do anything of value.  there just isn't much for leadership or organization in the democrates and it's keeping them politically weak.

5. there is a reason that the presidential race started almost a full year earlier than normal.  we're on a countdown until we get rid of this guy.

so, as an american, i apoligize to each and every one of you.  i voted for kerry, but i'm still sorry.

You have still not been able to refute what I said. Of course now you know that the Nazis made up the polish attack on Germany, but if they had won nobody would have known that until it was too late. @edit at nintendo fanboy: What I meant was you probably would not be able to convince someone that they are wrong (in their beliefs or even if they have wrong info) by calling them racists.
