You're saying they're studier than real cars?

So it's not realistic!?

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita

Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte

Sugu yoko de waratteita

Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo

I will never leave you

As far as broken windows goes I can't see any broken windows in this nascar crash video

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/3143686/nacsar_wrecks/

If anything I sometimes see the whole glass pop out in Nascar

Like this video for example at 2:14 can you clearly see the whole windshield fly off intact.

Polyphony are still restricted by car manufacturers with regard to how much damage they can include, right?

Regardless, people seem to have an exaggerated understanding of how damaged cars ought to look when they flip or scrape against the pavement; in real life, things do not disintegrate/explode/shatter/etc. In real life, things fall off/get bent/hang out of place/receive dents/etc, even in the bigger crashes.

Some posters act on here as if every crash happens at F1 speed and therefore requires axles snapping and chassis bending...

Im going to get this just because it looks so real

Yeah blame grid and games like that.  There are some occasional big impacts that can break a car in half but not often, and your talking like 200kmh into immovable object to do something like that.
