What's your opinion on the vuvuzelas?

They're horrible, they should be banned 44 53.66%

They're annoying, but it's their culture 20 24.39%

I don't mind them at all 8 9.76%

They're really cool 10 12.20%

Total:82

Every time I hear one I feel like killing a puppy. That's a lot of puppies. If they wanted to put their culture across then they should sing, play some African beats before the games, but not piss off thousands worldwide by blowing non-stop for 90 minutes like total prats. It's not atmosphere, it's the opposite. When you hear that racket you don't get hyped up, if anything it's one tone nature calms down the game. There's not a change in mood for different periods of the game like there should be, it's all the same due to those stupid things.

Where's the racism?  And on the subject of those bloody annoying horns, they should be banned as they ruin the atmosphere of the game.  One long monotonous buzz that doesn't change during the course of the game, whether a goal is scored, a shot is saved, or whatever.  Most people watch the world cup wanting to hear the samba drums, the bands, the chanting and singing, the crowd noise etc.  Not a massive swarm of bees.  Ban them now FIFA!

"For those who don't know what a vuvuzela is, a picture is worth more than a thousand words

Multiply that by 60 thousand"

How isn't that racist? D:

Possibly because...it isn't.  What's so racist about saying there are 60,000 people in a stadium blowing those damn horns?

Anyway, stories emerging in the media that they may be banning the horns due to complaints from fans(in the stadia and viewers/listeners) and media/broadcasters.  Please FIFA, please....

Racist?

What.

The.

Fuck.

?

It was a joke...

*picture of a black guy*

v.v

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

Come on, even I got the joke...

The FIFA is holding a meeting to decide on whether they'll ban them or not, someone should bring a vuvuzela orchestra in that meeting and blow them non stop, maybe that way they'll decide to ban them
