80GB, never died. Bought it June (or was it July?) last year.

I have had my Playstation 3 since November of 2007 and it has never needed any repairs. It froze a couple of times over the years but its in pretty condition.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Nope. not yet. But then again i've owned 6 consoles and none of them died. Guess I've been lucky so far.

The Blu-ray drive on my 40GB PS3 died, Sony where very nice to replace it even though it was outside of warranty

I have a non BC 80 Gig which had a drive failure. A lot of my personal friends have had their PS3 fail in one way or another.
