Must buy at that price!

Gamestop has been having this sale going on the past few weeks now. I already bought if for that price weeks ago. I do wish I had held out though, because I just found an advert on Metacritic that sent me to this.

$34.99 for the Special Edition! I'm pissed! :(

I can't believe the way games have been getting discounted lately. It used to take almost a year before a games price would be discounted. Now it only takes a couple months. SSF4 is currently on sale for $27.99 at Amazon and Gamestop. Now I know the game only retailed at $39.99, but it was released only a month ago. It's arguably the best fighter released this generation and for under $30 you can't go wrong.

Plus look at all the Pre-Order deals going on as well. Walmart and Amazon are both giving $20 credits on a future game purchase on multiple high quality games. I'm not quite sure what's going on, but being a gamer has gotten a whole lot cheaper if you shop around.

I don't know what happened but I bought Splinter Cell Conviction the day I saw this thread and I paid full retail at Gamestop.  The lady didn't even know what the hell I was talking about.  Maybe it was online-only?
