Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Will I regret purchasing Naruto Rotn over Mass Effect?

You will regret it. ME is just crazy good. It has alot of replay value.

I'm already playing through again, in the unlocked Hardcore mode. Playing a second time as a Renegade (I was a Paragon first time through) with the increased difficulty has been like playing a whole other game. I spent 35 hours on my first play through and I suspect I'll hit about 20-25 on this one -- that's getting your money's worth.

I would say Mass Effect now (since it's really, really long and a top-tier title) and Naruto later.

Merely because it "seems" that Naruto is a fantastic game, but not nearly as long as Mass Effect. IMO, after Christmas, I bet you could pick up Naruto pretty cheap, as there'll be tons of used copies for that.

Dude have you ever seen used Anime titles?  I mean they are cheaper then normal but not by much.  They're usually still like 40 bucks until a new version comes out.

If you like naruto the anime and like the games, then you will probably like this one. I like the naruto anime (seen them only in Japanese) but hate the games so much. I did however like this one.

To me though, I think ME is the better game. It’s more innovative, funner to play, and looks amazing. There are times when the frame rate drops during the action but that ok no game is perfect.

To sum it up:

Naruto= a good game with lots of solid platforming, a decent fighting system, some nice RPG elements, and great visuals.

Mass effect= my favorite game this year.

So either way u will get your money's worth with these either of these 2 games.
