Guys, Zelda:OoT > Mario 64. Everybody knows that (thus, why Aonuma is better than Tezuka).

Tezuka worked on Ocarina of Time too.

Learn more about who you're voting for.

Hey, way to assume I wasn't playing around. Tezuka is more well-known for his work on Mario games, and Aonuma is only really known for his work on Zelda games.

Not to mention I believe Aonuma had a larger degree of influence on OoT, but that's irrelevant to the point. The point's that I was playing around and you, sir, need to calm down. =p

And pass up an opportunity to use giant letters? Never!

It should be a forum rule that anyone being insincere or sarcastic must include a smiley in their post.

I'm not sure whether to take your words at face value or with a grain of salt. It makes sense and is very reasonable... but you include a smilie at the end. So confusing!

And it looks like Mr. Yokoi is going to win. Victory! Although, I'm disappointed that I have to deduct points from my good friend Aonuma. =/

Damn, I drove home to Los Angeles today and missed out when all the Ocarina fans came in here and scared me. Nice to see they were taken care of.

I'm not even changing the plus/minus markers. Just changing the numbers one point in their respective directions. This is getting pointless hahaha.

Anyhow, I feel like offering an explanation of my unwavering support for Mr. Gunpei Yokoi. Not only is Mr. Yokoi responsible for work on many wonderful Nintendo franchises, but he is the biggest reason the Metroid series went the way it did, and he is basically the reason Nintendo became so big in the videogame market, since he headed the Game and Watch series, which is arguably the predecessor to the NES. Additionally, Yokoi invented the GameBoy brand, cementing Nintendo's position as handheld market leader for 20 years running. Lastly, my wife and I put the most gaming hours into our DS's (and we're even looking to purchase a third DS with a game, and asking for a whole mess of additional games for Christmas, which will put the count at 3 DS's and 32 games). If it weren't for Yokoi's invention of the GameBoy, I guarantee that the DS would have never come to be. Especially since he very possibly may have been the person that brainstormed the dual-screened G&W system. It is without a doubt that Yokoi-sama is directly behind Mr. Miyamoto in his extreme level of influence on the gaming world.

Yes.

And to all you anti-Ninty folks out there: You also owe Mr. Yokoi respect for inspiring creation of the GameGear and the PSP, as neither would have been created if the GameBoy hadn't been so wildly popular and influential. Additionally, Yokoi also created the WonderSwan name, which didn't do well here in the West but was still very important to Japanese and Chinese gaming.
