Official Xbox Editor Jon Hicks has told CVG that the mag will next month reveal the return of a "substantial franchise" - as an Xbox exclusive.

The Next Month page of the latest issue of UK magazine says a 'gaming classic' is set to return, as you can see here:

Hicks told us: "It's a very substantial franchise and it's going to be a very big surprise. A good one, though - we're really looking forward to it."

A 'very big surprise'? We likey. But what could it be, do you reckon?

But in all seriousness, I have no idea what it could be. So many franchises that were once great haven't made an appearance in this generation yet. Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, KotOR, Jedi Knight series, and many others I can't even think of off the top of my head.

I'm leaning towards Killer Instinct which would be totally badass but who knows. Honestly I'm just happy to hear there's more new awesome stuff on the way, the 360 right now has a huge list of exclusive games on the way and it just keeps getting better!!! Defiantly making up for the slow 2009.

If it is anything from Rare I wouldnt call it a big surprise. Who else would a Rare title have come from.
