Shit happens nothing to get angry for. Its been overall bad year for PS3 media does not like it, its like the ugly kid in school. Negativ news drags down sales too.

"media doesn't like it" ?

It is obvious Microsoft has paid this actor, why else take the risk of being sued ? the same week PS3 will hit 6 million consoles sold, the same week PS3 is the highest selling console in Japan, the same week the PS3 will probably surpass the x360 in weekly sells worldwide.

Please stop

ROFL.

IOI we gotta do something about these un-sociable ppl...

Yojimbo, what do you want Unavion to do?

Yojimbo, can you have a discussion with someone without crying "please stop"?

C'mon lets be alittle more mature and grown up around here Yojimbo. non of this "please stop" BS.

you sound like a helpless 7 year old when you say stuff like that.

In the nature of business ppl are gonna do things  fucked up ..paying someone to say something HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

I'm pretty sure Jimmy Hoffa, the Pope, and Fidel Castro are behind this.

In case some of you are having reading comprehension problems with the original article, it mentions right there that the guy has been paid by Fox News before. There is absolutely no reason to blame MS for this and this type of reporting screams Fox News all over it.

I think this is more about Faux News being shit again, rather than the console makers badmouthing each other. I can't imagine any of the three big companies doing stuff like this, and they probably wouldn't do such a bad job at it if they did.

Indeed.  If anybody paid him for this it was Faux News trying to start up another ridiculous story.

Al gore told me Manbearpig did it.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

There are rumers MICROSOFT was the one that paid the kid. If sony does get to them and there is enoguh proof Sony can sue microsoft.

Is there anything except really bad circumstantial evidence that points to anyone actually paying the guy for the story? If this is a set-up, it is terribly done. With any real money it would be easy to overload the system with dust and clean it off the system itself. This is much more likely to just be the guy doing it to gain attention for himself.

It is called being polite and acting maturely. He is kindly asking someone to stop spreading conspiracy theories that have no evidence supporting them. You, on the other hand, just sound like a child laughing at adults that are resolving their conflicts in a rational manner.

Hey guys... I think I have to point something out here:

If Microsoft paid this guy, wouldn't they have put him on MSNBC and not Fox News? You know, considering that's Microsoft's news channel... I find it hard to believe with the current news feud between Fox and MSNBC that Microsoft would pay a guy to go on their rivals network. In fact, it doesn't make sense.

I think it's perfectly plausible that this guy, who happens to be an actor, had this problem and used his connections with Fox News to facilitate getting his story on there. I was expecting at least some kind of evidence of Microsoft's involvement from a thread like this, but instead I get nothing. It's an awfully bizarre story for someone to make up to discredit Sony, in any case.

I guess there's the outside chance that Fox fabricated it, but why would they? They've got more important stories to make up.

Do you really think Microsoft needs to pay someone to say something bad about the PS3...honestly...
