Bleh, I think the Wii's going to sell 60m units in America. The hype is just out of control, and the demand is higher than anything I have ever seen! If PS3 where free, I don't think the demand would be this high.

Crazy amounts, actually it's almost exactly (+3K) what I predicted ( I was feeling a bit crazy with the Euro numbers at the time)

Huge numbers for Wii for the wii, looks like the stockpiling has payed off. With that Toys R us promo for next week sales look like they will be higher. I wonder how much SMG shifted.....??

What did you expect guys? It's a combination of Christmas season buy-up + the presence of Super Mario Galaxy.
I've been waiting on this uptick for awhile now. It's actually a little late from where I'm sitting. But I'm glad it's finally here.
Now is the time for Nintendo to blow all of your minds with the most unreal numbers you have seen in ages as the stock appears more in the stores. Week after week after week of the most ungodly uncanny unbelievable figures for a game system & its games in a holiday period.
I'm ready for my 'minimum 20 million sold by year's end' prediction to be verified.
Oh & Japan will start shocking you when Wii Fit shows up. In fact, maybe this is what hampered Super Mario Galaxy's super powers over there. Maybe they're saving their money for Wii Fit instead. Wii Fit anticipation may have cannibalized SMG's sales. If anything deserves to have done that, Wii Fit would be the candidate. And I would be perfectly fine with that. Quality beats quality.
It's about ta get FREAKY up in here when it comes to Nintendo sales.
