Looks like 2K isn't going to have as easy a time as they thought. According to Walmart's official blog, NHL 11 is coming to the Wii, marking the first time EA's hockey series is hitting Nintendo's console.

EA is going to be bringing their NHL game to the Wii system this year for the 1st time. They showed us a video last week and it really looks like it could be something special.

Hmm...is it actually time for me to get interested in hockey games again? A bit of a rivalry on the Wii could do wonders for my interest! Thanks to Trav for the heads up!

That's really odd. The company that was actually releasing it on all consoles goes Wii-exclusive, and the company that was skipping Wii suddenly goes in for it.
