here are some studios that Sony MUST acquire xD

Q-Games – PixelJunk (Pixeljunk might go the Xbox 360 soon if sony don't acquire them)
Insomniac Games – Resistance series (excluding Resistance: Retribution), Ratchet & Clank series (this is a must LOLZ)
Sucker Punch Productions – inFamous, Sly Cooper (Infamous is a household name to Playstation)
Ninja Theory – Heavenly Sword (they make awesome games)
Eat Sleep Play – Twisted Metal: Head On (next twisted metal FTW)

am i the only one who wants sony to acquire platinum games???

wouldn't it be funny if sony acquired Infinity ward after the mess with activision???unlikely but it would be a megaton

The actual entity that is Infinity Ward won't be able to break free from Activision's grasp until October 2010 at the earliest.  I suppose Sony could try and recruit talent from the studio, but they have enough shooter houses as it is, between Guerrilla Games, Zipper Interactive, and Insomniac Games.  It's highly unlikely they'll persue anything on that front.

Platinum Games is just as improbable. I doubt the company will ever even work with Sony, let alone wind up in a position where Sony might feel compelled to buy them.  And this is SCEJ we're talking about.  It's as if they don't care about growth whatsoever.
