I will install, like I did with LO and SO4... obviously I deleted SO4 before much of that was explored.

Installing on the 360 is so quick its silly not to.

no matter how quick it does it. 18GB is 18GB. That's like installing every chapter of MGS4, it's quite a hassle, only MGS4 never installs more than 4 GB. People willing to install FF13 need to have a lot of free space (and said space will remain occupied for a long while, since it's a long game).

I made it through most of the Old Testament while installing MGS4.

Mass Effect 2, not so much.

If we prefer this on xbox 360 it's non of your business really. STFU and enjoy the freaking game.

@rocketpig

well, you would learn Greek and Hebrew and read the whole original bible with FF13 for 360. Not to mention you'll have little space left for anything else.

Why is the PS3 on top of the X360? That's just mean!

It'd be a balancing act the other way around.

Because the PS3 is domed.

At about seven minutes a disc, it still clocks in at a similar time (or less) than MGS4.

Uh,noooo....

17 minutes total vs 21 or so you say (or your wristwatch?) for FF13? Maybe you should wait for your installation (hopefully you don't have a 20GB HDD, or that won't be possible, although I wonder why would you buy the arguably inferior version if you own a PS3)...

And MGS4 won't steal a chunk of my HDD. If installing FFXIII would allow me to avoid disc-swapping I could see its use, somewhat. But just to shorten a little loading time? nah. Doubtful many of the buyers will install the whole thing.

So four minutes difference on an optional install. I still don't see the point in complaining about it. Besides, you don't have to install all three discs at once.

Really, I just don't understand people complaining about 360 installations when they're optional AND faster than many PS3 installs (I'm hearing that Bioshock 2 is really bad as well).
