Forums - Nintendo Discussion - silent hill arcade wii - a great idea

I would sooner buy a (good) classic arcade shooter port at a budget price (or WW/VC) than a full rail shooter game like RE & DS (rather have that in TPS please and thanks).

Can't speak for this particular one though.

Around the Network

yes i know that virtua cop and house of the dead 4 are better shooters,,,but maybe silent hill is a rare gem..actually very rare...and retro gamer said that the castlevania shooter was ok
and i was hoping for a normal price like the cheap house of the dead 2-3

Y'know, Sega/M2 already have fully functional Model 2 emulator up and running on GameCube hardware (it was used for Sonic Fighters in Sonic Gems Collection) meaning it's Wii compatible.  They could be releasing stuff like Virtua Cop 1-2, House of the Dead 1 or Gunblade NY on VC Arcade for $10-12 each, and they'd make a killing imo.

Yeah, if they release the Silent Hill shooter as a arcade VC game I'd get it for sure.  A lot of other arcade shooters too.
