will PSN ever have cross game chat?

U know I was amazed okay amazed, in how BAD!! the quality of the Xbox live chat system was when I bought my Xbox 360 2 years ago, because all I heard was Xbox live this Xbox live that, then I got it and noticed that the Voice chat quality was CRAP!! and no one to that point ever even mention it! even the video quality was crap too 90% of video "feeds" (not movies) on on live were not FULL screen...
