What will sell better PS Move or MS kinect

in Sales Discussion on 18 June 2010

Is this a serious question? There is seemingly zero buzz at all for PS move in the mainstream non-gaming press, but a lot of buzz for Kinect.   I'll be the first one to admit that Move has more interetsing looking software for core gamers, but I'd also say that Sony seems to have no clue who they're marketing that thing to. Do hardcore gamers really care about Move? I doubt most will, and...

    FXIII shortage for ps3?

in Sony Discussion on 11 March 2010

The game's been selling out big time on both systems out here in Vancouver, Canada. It honestly baffles me that square would under-ship this game, especially when the competition is so strong. Sega pulled the same stupid stunt with Bayonetta around here, game sold out immediately, and didn't get restocked for weeks.  Looks like stores have already been restocking (and possibly immediately...

Tuganuno said:   So what you're pretty much saying is, 1 review is right, and 99 other reviews are wrong.. and the worst thing is that you're saying Edge is the right one lol Well, it's been proved that Edge is, at the very minimum, slightly biased to the 360, and notice how I used the word "minimum" before "slightly". I'm not saying you're wrong, you do have a point, a...

So I was spot on with my heavy rain Edge review prediction!! next up....

in Sony Discussion on 14 February 2010

In regards to Heavy Rain, I tried the demo yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. I also loved Indigo Prophecy, for the record. Anyways, I love the atmosphere and style, and it just oozes with cinematic quality. But... I did find it to be a bit tedious at times. It's essentially a must own for me once I get a PS3, but its a very unique game. I'd imagine it will have its faults, as evidenced by...

So Bayonetta might be the greatest action game of ALL TIME

in Microsoft Discussion on 18 January 2010

disolitude said:I like the bayonetta story as well...its very original. I like when a game doesn' take itself so seriously. There is nothing worse than a videogame medium thiking its more important than it actually is. Cool, to be honest, I loved watching the cut-scenes in the game. Some of the stuff that goes on is damn funny, and just fun. I found it to be an immensly entertaining...

So Bayonetta might be the greatest action game of ALL TIME

in Microsoft Discussion on 18 January 2010

I don't think the story is that bad at all to be honest. Especially not by action game standards (GOW, NG, DMC). The detail that went into the mythology is actually fairly impresive I'd say, and equal to anything Capcom puts out (remember, the guys who created Bayonetta also created Resident Evil 1,2,4 and Okami, they know how to create an interesting world). I think that if there's a problem,...

So Bayonetta might be the greatest action game of ALL TIME

in Microsoft Discussion on 17 January 2010

I beat Bayonetta on Normal, and thus far, i'd have to agree with the OP in regards to it being the best action game ever made. I'd also give GOW3 about a 5% chance of topping it (being generous). What I disagree with is that the characters, story, and Mythology are bad, and that combat is the only thing that makes it better (it doesn't).   What also makes Bayonetta the best action game...
