Sounds nice. It's a lot of shooters/sandbox stuff, though, because those are popular. If not mentioned yet, add vehicles. Vehicles move like soap in a whirl pool. The player needs to take each and every turn in a different way, even if they managed one turn and approach it the same way again, the physics have to screw them over and randomly bump the car into walls or launch it in the air....
Dreamcast. Probably even Virtual Boy ;) PlayStations may have had an impact on number of users but how does that define "revolutionary"? So Hollywood and every pop "musician" is revolutionary I guess. Doing stuff for the masses is 99% a case of not being revolutionary but "creating" something that has been in development decades ago, polishing it for the masses....
