Well another year goes by and another edition of The Show gets massively undertracked. It is a minumum of 230k (mario party 9 sales), and likely quite a bit more being 4 places higher. VGC has it at only 117,611 for the PS3/Vita versions combined....

I'm kind of glad in a way. I already had severe reservations with the game ($80 for the full game, origin, no mod support at launch, hints of being a social game). This just makes the decision to pass on it much easier. This would be the perfect time for Ubisoft to pull their head out of their ass and build some goodwill with fans by removing the DRM from Settlers and Anno....

I want to get excited, but EA is making it really difficult. The game is a year away, and they already want you to preorder their $80 digital version if you want the full game. Combine that with the fact that the FAQ makes it seem like they are trying to target the Sims demographic, and you have to use Origin, really puts a damper on things. It also doesn't make me very optimistic...
