For Switch revision, i don't think they will get as crazy as they were with the 3DS but we will for sure see at least 1 new model and not too far from now imo. They went all in for the 3DS family since they had to save the numbers from dropping too low to distract investors from looking at the Wii U numbers. I mean, they even released a "new" switch with longer battery life and some other stuff with very little communication about it. If this was for the 3DS, they would have literally made that 2-3+ hour battery life aspect into a damn new model with so much press to make it popular again. I was really surprised when that switch was "announced" out of nowhere, but still managed to give it a nice little boost during a usually dead summer season with as low of press it had.

So we clearly see from that Nintendo doesn't really care or need to release something more powerful for now since if they had plan of releasing a Switch Pro soon, they probably would have kept that longer battery life argument for the press of this model and i don't see them making a new model just advertising power since not much of the Switch needs a revision tbh. So in my opinion, i see them releasing something at the end of summer 2021. Not too early to let them reduce the production cost and not make it too high for this new model and long enough to be efficient to push it's lifespan longer. I believe the Switch will get a price cut next year but again we keep saying that every year since 2017 cause we all thought it was too expensive during the January presentation and there we are, almost entering it's FOURTH YEAR and still we BARELY got even Black friday deals. Like really though the same deal as last year : same price but with a mario kart 8 port bundled that's absolute madness and yet it will be really competitive even with the lite model. But really tho next year we will probably see it happen to be more competitive towards the new consoles which is also why i think they waited that long to do it. But as Switch coexisted with the PS4 and didn't really affect it's sales, i don't see the new gen affecting the Switch either.

Also, i think y'all really underestimate the power of a Switch pro model even if it's main factor would be power, people love the switch so much and spend so much money on it it's actually crazy the amount of accessories and games that sells on it, i wouldn't be surprised many would not hesitate to buy a new model to play their favorite games like Zelda with no framerate issue, faster loading time and a bit better visually. They did it with the 3DS and it was really popular with the PS4 and Xbox one family so they will clearly do it and on top of that, with 1 system they will definitely want to make it last longer.
