Sakurai: "No way" future Smash Bros. games will have as many fighters as Ultimate

There are still so many things to add though. The next game should very well bring back story mode, and I don't mean glorified event matches like World of Light.

Yes Sakurai should work on other projects, but that doesn't mean Smash is tired.

I agree with you but I don't think they really view singleplayer as a priority ... so if that ends up being the case I would say it'll probably be a little tired, at least for me, though I'll admit having to unlock all the character was fun and contributed to most of my play time.
