I will fully admit that I have never before snapped a disk like that and never since snapped a disk either. FFXIII simply did my head in and I will forever say that XIII and XII are the worst games ever in the FF lineup. To me the biggest mistake they made was going action based. They should have maintained FF as a Turn Based system and made an entirely new IP as action based. |
A fair arguement. Both had ATB based parts though. FF12 had a more open environment but actions were taken after a time but could be interrupted and moves changed. 13 is a different matter, personally my least favourite FF game but not because of the gameplay (which was dull) but more of it's 'fixed' gameplay. You had contained battles, an ATB and everything but control of only 1 character? extremely linear fights, story and leveling, weird pacing to the story as well.
It's still however a good game just not a good FF game.
I too would like them to stick with ATB turn based but sadly they aren't making those anymore.
