Kwaad, you make a solid point except: The Wii was NEVER branded as a multi-media console. Why are you so angry for a console that never lied about it's abilities? Steaming movies, Mp3, or whatever were never on the table with the Wii. Homebrew might fix that, but not all users are interested in that.I know you love your Ps3, but the consoles are meant to differ in every way except having fun with their differrent attributes. You did buy them for different reason right?Why on earth would you like to do identical things with them. Gaming consoles are not glorified hard drives, that is just...sad.
And who started that FF7 crap anyways? Square has stated, when asked if they are going to make a nintendo remake for the DS, that FF7 is out of the question to appear on N. consoles. But i find it hard to believe that compresing an 1997 game is that demanding.
