Part two of the news:

Look like some sort of Pokemon trainer with Fortnite's new 'Dare' skin
https://www.pcgamer.com/look-like-some-sort-of-pokemon-trainer-with-fortnites-new-dare-skin/
Fortnite has dropped yet another new skin in the item shop, and you know what, for the life of me, I can't not see some sort of newfangled Pokemon trainer. The "Dare" skin shows off a futuristic, yet fashionable vibe that definitely fits in with season 9's sci-fi style. She's got a cowl that would fit in with Cyberpunk 2077's V, a sort of plastic-y green dress, and leggings for days. But she absolutely, definitely, positively looks like she could be your avatar in Pokemon Go, right? Even some of the white symbols on her clothes look like something you'd see a destitute youth wearing around the National Park bug catching contest in Pokemon Silver.

The Eight Princes are on their way to Total War: Three Kingdoms, and they're not coming to play Parcheesi. The upcoming chapter pack will touch off a new campaign set 100 years after the beginning of the Three Kingdoms period, with a new generation of eager youngbloods fighting for the future of the Jin dynasty.

Guide a lost dog back home in Doggone
https://www.pcgamer.com/guide-a-lost-dog-back-home-in-doggone/
Dogs and humans have developed such a close kinship over the course of the last several millennia that, once you've owned a dog, it's hard to imagine the one without the other. A team of indie developers is creating a game about a lost dog trying to find its way back to its people, and they've launched a Kickstarter to help make it happen.

GOG changes its mind, decides Heaven's Vault is good enough after all
https://www.pcgamer.com/gog-changes-its-mind-decides-heavens-vault-is-good-enough-after-all/
The archaeological adventure expedition Heaven's Vault is not to be missed: We called it "exquisite" in our 88/100 review. So it seemed awfully odd that GOG, which unlike Steam is a curated store (and which carries Inkle's previous game, 80 Days), took a pass on it at launch.

Before We Leave is a 'chill-out' interplanetary city building game
https://www.pcgamer.com/before-we-leave-is-a-chill-out-interplanetary-city-building-game/
Before We Leave is a game about raising cities, rebuilding your world and reaching for the stars, and unlike some other games about building civilizations that might immediately leap to mind, it's mostly-non-violent: There are no weapons, no warfare, and no worries that Gandhi is going to nuke your ass into glass the moment you turn your back.

Okami meets Hyper Light Drifter in gorgeous free adventure Atma
https://www.pcgamer.com/okami-meets-hyper-light-drifter-in-gorgeous-free-adventure-atma/
The beautiful, polished Atma feels like a 'full' game compressed to a fine jewel, an action adventure with no fat you can play for free over an afternoon or so.
The impressive pixel art reminds of Hyper Lift Drifter (though they could have maybe toned down the bloom slightly), while the central mechanic recalls the 'pause the game and draw lines on the screen' of the similarly Zelda-inspired Okami.

PUBG sets up Season 4 with a story trailer
https://www.pcgamer.com/pubg-sets-up-season-4-with-a-story-trailer/
Fortnite's increasingly bizarre narrative notwithstanding, battle royale games have generally shied away from trying to tell coherent stories. Here are the rules, jump in and play, they usually say. Now, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is taking a stab at some worldbuilding with a new cinematic trailer for Season 4.

After a million copies sold, Squad now has tutorials
https://www.pcgamer.com/after-a-million-copies-sold-squad-now-has-tutorials/
There's a big new patch out for tactical multiplayer shooter Squad, and it adds the first round of what eventually will be a series of tutorials to the game. If you've been nervous about jumping in, it seems as though Offworld Industries has heard your cries. Now you can go to boot camp before heading into the warzone.

Overwatch's Summer Games 2019 have begun
https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatchs-summer-games-2019-have-begun/
Overwatch has kicked off its Summer Games for this year, and that of course means new skins and plenty more Lucioball.
Each week, players can earn new epic skins for Reaper, Mei, and Reinhardt. This week it's Reaper, whose American Reaper skin looks like he's just robbed Evel Knievel. It's all red, white, and blue with some prominent beveled stars on his shoulder pads and the muzzles of hist shotguns. You'll unlock the skins by winning nine games in quick play, competitive, or arcade.
