Tuesday news, part two:

Developers tell people to pirate their games instead of using G2A
https://www.pcgamer.com/developers-tell-people-to-pirate-their-games-instead-of-using-g2a/
G2A, the grey market purveyor of game keys, has once again drawn the ire of game developers less than keen for their games to feature on G2A's digital shelves. It's previously clashed with TinyBuild and Gearbox, and a recent ad push has seen it condemned by more developers, with some even saying they'd rather players torrent than buy from G2A.

Hearthstone's next expansion is Saviors of Uldum, out August 6
https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstones-next-expansion-is-saviors-of-uldum-out-6-august/
Last week Blizzard's teaser for the next Heartstone expansion heavily hinted that it will be themed around the League of Explorers and, whaddya know, it is! Saviors of Uldum will be about teaming up with the League of Explorers in their fight against the League of E.V.I.L. as part of this year's multi-part pulpy adventure. The new expansion is the second chapter of the story that's playing out across 2019 in Hearthstone, and follows on directly from the Rise of the Shadows set, and the solo adventure that accompanied it, The Dalaran Heist.

https://www.pcgamer.com/the-chinese-publisher-of-horror-game-devotion-has-had-its-business-license-revoked/
Taiwanese first-person horror game Devotion was pulled from sale in February after the discovery of in-game art that appeared to mock Chinese president Xi Jinping. A review-bombing campaign from Chinese state-supporters followed, which led to an apology and explanation from developers Red Candle Games.

The Outer Worlds will have two main endings, plus a slideshow of other consequences
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-outer-worlds-endings/
One of the first questions asked of new story-driven and choice-based RPGs is "but do your choices matter?" It sounds like they will in The Outer Worlds, though in the same slideshow style of Fallout: New Vegas.

How the Apex Legends ranked mode works
https://www.pcgamer.com/apex-legends-ranked-leagues/
Apex Legends Season 2 is almost upon us, and prior to the big patch tomorrow, Respawn has explained how its new Ranked Leagues will work in a Reddit post.
If you want to begin the long journey toward the top rank, you'll have to start at Bronze IV, work your way to Bronze I, and then do the same through the Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond ranks. The final rank, Apex Predator, is the only one not divided into four tiers.

Cyberpunk 2077 lets you choose from three possible origin stories and starting locations
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-lets-you-choose-from-three-possible-origin-stories-and-starting-locations/
We already know a lot about Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of its release date in 2020. We'll be choosing who to kill (or not kill), who to smooch (or not), and now we know we'll be choosing some details about V's childhood and backstory as well, and those choices will determine which location you start playing in.

Green Hell, the survival sim set in the Amazon, leaves Early Access soon
https://www.pcgamer.com/green-hell-the-survival-sim-set-in-the-amazon-leaves-early-access-soon/
Green Hell, the intense survival simulator set in the Amazon jungle, will launch out of Early Access on September 5. The game's been in Early Access for nearly a year, and currently boasts a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam. Chris played it in October, and became so enraged that he punched an armadillo (in the game, not in real life). Becoming enraged is, of course, par for the course in survival games, so it bodes well.

Steel Circus is a free-to-play future sport coming to Early Access in August
https://www.pcgamer.com/steel-circus-is-a-free-to-play-future-sport-coming-to-early-access-in-august/
I only care about future sports—give me neon and robots and a reckless disregard for health and safety regulations. Steel Circus appears to have all of that. It's a sci-fi sport that tosses two teams of three into an arena to duke it out and score some goals all in an effort to maintain peace throughout the solar system. Noble! It's coming to Steam Early Access next month, but first you can watch the launch cinematic above.

Poop on everything in Pigeon Simulator
https://www.pcgamer.com/poop-on-everything-in-pigeon-simulator/
After revealing the secrets of goats and bread, the physics wizards at Bossa Studios are now shining the spotlight on the true master of Earth's cities: the mighty pigeon. Like Goat Simulator, Pigeon Simulator looks like another sandbox where mayhem is the goal, and as you can see in the announcement trailer above, pigeons are pretty skilled at sowing chaos.
>> Will the poo look white on black cars and black on white cars like in real life?
