Theres invisible demon/spirits from the underworld and a deathgod run amok on earth....I think?
So you fight "dead spirits" from the underworld (ei. those skeletion soldiers, are fallen soldiers from past wars), and sneak around to avoid the demons.
Also theres some sort of infection, from contact with the demons... and that baby is probably one of the few remaining humans that isnt infected or something.
