The Wii does have an unfair advantage of having the Virtual Console at the time. I know the shop is closed now but most of the N64 hits were on the VC. I would say both systems are almost dead even for me when it comes to local multiplayer fun. It was nice that the N64 came with 4 controller ports instead of having to buy an adapter which it really shined with games like Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario Party, etc. It's a tough call but I'm going with the Wii.
