I would never hope for a game to fail since that's pretty petty, but I can't deny that the more Epic Games continues to pull this type of shit the more I begin to want the 0.001% chance that Fortnite either drops significantly in popularity or that Apex Legends or any other game comes out and takes it down.
I presume that is the one of their major if not the biggest revenue source they have currently to be able to afford paying to keep games off of Steam like this, at least if that drops significantly hopefully they wouldn't be able to do these deals for much longer, or at least not in as much quantity as they are now.
